You should try the feeds feature on BlueSky.
It really changes your experience, and the curated feeds are very well made.

I think the fact that they have major media posting on BlueSky is a huge reason for stickyness.
I can't find any news feed on Farcaster.
I've had @djgoose casting regular football news in /ol , maybe I should do more.

I am not saying Farcaster / Warpcast should become BlueSky like.
But if a social product / network does not bring my at least 80% of the information I source from social networks, then I have to use another one on the side. It's bad for the user experience, and ultimately bad for retention.
The $5 fee is not really what prevents NYT (or Cointelegraph if we stay crypto) to create a Farcaster account IMO.

totally. i think bluesky simply feels much more similar to twitter and therefore easier to grok

there's no in-feed insanity, no sign up fee, no channels to understand

like it is much closer to a clone and therefore easier to execute the Normie Hop
