LOL I've not been included in /fc-devs  even though I had main posts there.

IMO my advice for people that have posted in a channel, and we're not included to unfollow that channel, there's no reason to follow it if you posted before and you're not included.

I think the update was mainly a success.
I don’t expect everything to be perfect when done in a rush on a Friday afternoon PST (so evening / night for everyone else).
It is a bit frustrating not being able to contribute to /fc-devs for now but I am sure it will change next week!

It is a channel owner decision.
Sharing the invite link I. The channel description makes everyone able to become member, and the moderator can further ban people.

The update has one benefit because there's one feed, but the approach should have been inclusive.

Add most people to channels, then ban them if you don't like the content but, I guess nobody wants to deal with ban fallout, is simpler if you're excluded in the first place.
