Just to add context RAI is a fork of DAI. DAI had to make a decision… it chose a direction. RAI forked to hold true to some of the original ideas. Those ideas, while good, have caused challenges to widespread adoption. New variants like HAI have made adjustments for opportunity cost of eth backed collateral.
