That was fast. The tone already feels like me, even with so little to go on. One thing it missed was my orthographic style. It generated replies in all lowercase when I haven’t written like that here. Looking forward to spending more time with Atlas - thanks!

Let me know if you do! I’m curious about who AI thinks we are over time, what it gets right/wrong.

Yes, the ‘can I help you write a reply’ at the bottom caught my eye. It’s buried under the comments, but that’s the part I’d be most curious to experiment with if this were an app.

Would replies be generated in the user’s voice—as in, the agent pulls from user’s existing posts/comments to draft something they might say?

The classic tension in our little coastal town is development vs preservation. It’s at the core of our local politics. Sometimes it’s a battle in my own heart too. I’m energized by human creativity, by builders, especially those expressions that fuel economic growth. The red tape here can be mind-boggling, self-amputating. But I also love the still-wild parts of our town. The fog. The open land. The flora and fauna that thrive in it. Last night I started collecting old photos from my area and felt that California spirit. That Gold Rush energy. That you can just do things. I also saw the untamed edges. The parts that shrink a little more with every project built, including mine. This morning I’m simply marveling at all of it: what came before, what’s to come, and this brief moment I get to be a part of it.

Yes. Full volume. Husband asked, “Everything ok back there?” I said yes, then tapped for an eternity.

I just click around the Mini Apps section and try pretty much everything. Even if I don’t get what it’s for, I’ll usually poke around for a few minutes. I also open every app that shows up in my feed.

New here. I really enjoy exploring the mini-apps. Their creativity and playfulness make me feel like a kid again. But I usually just move on if I hit an error and don’t know who to tell. What’s the norm for flagging issues? And is there a channel for new people questions?

Started the day here with coffee on the beach and a pre-sunrise call with close friends in Dubai, Singapore, and NYC. The coast can feel too sleepy sometimes, but someone’s always awake somewhere in the world.

Several years ago, I sketched an idea for a space by the ocean, something I imagined building later in life during my coastal grandma era. I set it aside and tried to forget about it. But recently the pieces aligned in a way I couldn’t ignore, and now I’m making it real. It’ll be a little spot on the coast off Highway 1, not far from SFO. In many ways, this project is a physical container of my heart and soul. I’ve found myself gravitating to Farcaster while shaping this idea, quietly inspired by the creativity and positivity here more than anywhere else online. I like: coffee/tea chats, surfing, trails, design, learning how things work (catch me at the factory tour), travel (husband’s a commercial airline pilot—feel free to send your flight q’s), and playing music. I’ve been lurking a while and finally posting. Big thanks to @linda for being so welcoming. It was the extra push I needed. Grateful for this community and looking forward to being more active. I think I like it here 👉👈
