Founders

Arbitrum Network was founded by the Offchain Labs team. The three main founders of the network are:

1. Steven Goldfeder: CEO and co-founder, he holds a PhD in cryptography and digital currencies from Princeton University and is one of the authors of the famous book "Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies".

2. Ed Felten: Co-founder and senior scientist, he is a professor at Princeton University and an expert in the field of security technologies and blockchain.

3. Harry Kalodner: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and an expert in the scalability and development of blockchain networks.

Arbitrum Network is a layer 2 scalability solution that uses Optimistic Rollup technology and focuses on reducing costs and increasing the speed of Ethereum transactions. The network allows the execution of Ethereum-compatible smart contracts without changing the code.
