I think his most impressive work is The Baroque Cycle, but it also aligns strongly with my own personal interests. I think Anathem is his strongest SF book. (I found Seveneves unbearable and didn’t finish it. But I know other people really dig it.) Terminal Shock is pretty light but I really enjoyed it.

REAMDE and Fall are for the Stephenson completionists, I think. (I quite liked the religious themes in Fall, but it seems pretty polarizing).

Some Remarks, his book of essays, is quite good too

His other books aren’t worth mentioning, IMO, but not worthless

what would you say are his strongest books? ive read snowcrash and cryptonomicon so far
