REAMDE and Fall are for the Stephenson completionists, I think. (I quite liked the religious themes in Fall, but it seems pretty polarizing).

I think his most impressive work is The Baroque Cycle, but it also aligns strongly with my own personal interests. I think Anathem is his strongest SF book. (I found Seveneves unbearable and didn’t finish it. But I know other people really dig it.) Terminal Shock is pretty light but I really enjoyed it.
