I am traveling to Colombia in two weeks time to look at vacation properties in Bogota and Medellín. I have many friends who’ve relocated there (especially Medellín) for work and they praise Colombia for the vibes and quality of life (eternal spring sounds nice). I would love to hear any feedback you might have on the two cities.

Yes, this is very much the sentiment of most everyone 😄, but there are a couple of new developments in Bogota that are worth looking at: good price, nice amenities, and ease of access from the airport.

Many thanks for your kind reply. I can actually get to Medellín from the door of my house in 8 hours. That kind of amazed me. I fly from my local airport (small, regional, no security hassle) to Orlando, then Orlando to Medellín. I also like the fact that Medellín is a university town.

I’d say there’s a reason behind the good pricing. Ofc, don’t get me wrong: it is the Capital city, as such, it will always have nice liquidity, movement, and such… but defo Medellin is more beautiful, has better services, better climate, the nicest ppl ever (😍) and a plethora of good vibes that make it the preferred destination for ‘my kind of ppl’ that’s it 🤔😅
