what’s interesting, apricot mead turned out to be more aromatic, but sourer. (M is for “morangos” — strawberries) I’m interested in the alcohol content! how much did your mead do? (our honey-only meads were considerably stronger)

midnight clumsy art alert. i’m going to an early Christmas dinner tomorrow. she is an engineer who makes drones, he is a scientist who plays violin. I had some fleece and some sticks lying around :) anyway, tomorrow they’ll get two more tree decorations.

lucky you :) I can’t make any preserves in larger cans because my fridge seems to be infested with spores, and no amount of cleaning helps any food stay mold-free for at least a month 🥲

hahaha, right? it was even more fun to find out there are two words for it: “bolor” is for the mold that affects foods. I mean, it really speaks of the problem when there is more than one word to describe it 😅

a piece of life in Porto. isn’t the ocean view magnificent? anyway, today is the day of de-molding of our festive tablecloth. yesterday, I and my flatmate discovered that it was affected by the unavoidable Portuguese plague, THE MOLD. some UHU for textiles, two hours of soaking and some stain remover, and now it’s also enjoying the view. until it rains.

it’s like this in Portugal, too :) but there are two other stages: where you get better and start getting treated like and equal and judged for not speaking well enough, and where you get good and achieve true harmony (but start seeing all the human flaws in the world that surrounds you)
