I was in a Goodwill, browsing secondhand clothes, and imagined how it would feel to see something you gave to your ex or a sweater you left at their place hanging there. And I WROTE A SONG ABOUT IT!

Sometimes I imagine people as clothes in a Goodwill, carrying with them all their past experiences and marked from the people who loved or βhadβ them before we did -before we found them, before they were new to us.
When I buy something secondhand, I often imagine the life it had before. And when I recycle my clothes, I canβt help but wonder where theyβll end up and who will have them next. I think we do this with the people we meet in life, too. All of these themes inspired this song!
