Binance crypto exchange has announced the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) from Amazon Web Services (AWS). The company told Incrypted about this.

We are talking about Amazon Bedrock and Amazon ECS services, the release stated. The purpose of this integration is to support the stability and operational efficiency of the company's platform.

In particular, Binance plans to improve work in two areas - customer verification and processing user requests to the support service.

The GenAI-powered KYC system automatically fills in customer data, processes documents and speeds up the processing of information, the organization said. According to the release, this made it possible to reduce operating costs for these tasks by 80%, and the accuracy of facial recognition in ID - up to 95%.

The system also increased the efficiency of checking proof of address (POA) in 107 countries by 6%. The time for manual verification against the World-Check database has decreased by 30%, Binance emphasized.
