Motorsport is a competition that takes place in cars. The history of motorsport began at the end of the 19th century, when the first cars were invented.
The first car races took place in 1894 in France. They were organized by Le Petit Journal and took place between Paris and Rouen. Only 25 cars competed in these races, but they attracted a lot of public attention.
Since then, motorsport has become a very popular sport. At the beginning of the 20th century, the first auto clubs and associations were created that organized races. In 1904, the International Motor Sports Association (FIA) was founded and became the main body regulating motor sports.
In the 1920s, the first motorsport championships were created, such as the French Grand Prix and the Italian Grand Prix. In 1950, the first Formula 1 World Auto Racing Championship was founded.
