Trying to decide where to travel in Spain in November. Anyone have any favorite cities other than Barcelona and Madrid. And would they rank above or below those two cities?

Alicante is not the most beautiful, but I’m here and I can show you places, gastronomy and top birras! 🍻

Disclaimer I was there in 2005 but I also loved the small towns in the south - Ronda (dramatic), Seville (historic), Jerez (the home of sherry wine, we didn’t spend the night but i remember liking it). Pass on Marbella.

San Sebastián on the northern coast was Anthony Bourdain’s favorite food city in Europe - always wanted to go there.
