recently onboarded my wife to Warpcast only for her to feel demotivated that no one was seeing or replying to her content… now I’ve just been shown there’s an auto setting that only shows replies from people you follow + active badge holders. how many more quality new users are being penalised w this ux?

imo this app should incentivise new users to create quality content rather than treating them like a bot until they grind to prove otherwise Compared with the tiktok approach, where new creators are more likely to go viral, thus incentivising them to make more content to have that feeling again

it’s tricky, I feel like even if you have a power badge, sometimes posts still don’t reach a lot of people if you don’t choose the right channel to post or maybe it’s just me lol, still figure it out :3

Ya, I think it’s funny that they often frame it as silencing “uninteresting” content. Laughable considering all the “interesting” accounts that were pushed at me day one were only talking about their rank and huge tip allows

Let’s talk about it! I felt like I was talking into the void for days on here. Even in channels with fewer members. No one was replying to me and made me feel like a ghost. I can only imagine that was enough to drive her away! I was this close 🤏🏾 till you and @getfreddie were the few replying to me on here!

It’s fairly new I think! I can’t imagine that has been the case for long? Definitely something that should be push notified when you come onto the app for the first time.
