Great note from @packy this morning. 

“Humans are not being commoditized. Certain things that we thought only we could do are.”

My line of work has long put me between someone and what they saw as their identity. “Unsettling” is putting it lightly. Many have fallen into what they do, not chosen it. They keep choosing it — over many years despite frustration and dissatisfaction — because they don’t see a better alternative. 

My hope is that two things happen concurrently:
1) Tools enable us to be more of who we are
2) We use them to become more of who we are to be
