Admitting failure publicly:

The second cohort of /firstdraft has been a big disappointment

I don’t blame the participants – I didn’t invest in the experience as much as I should’ve (possibly because I was a member of the first cohort myself)

The second cohort was launched somewhat prematurely (while the first was still happening). At the time I thought I was building on momentum,  but looking back I believe I failed to set the tone / expectations to ensure a strong start

Been taking some time to think about how to make v3 a fun and successful experience for everyone :)

I appreciate your honesty and transparency in admitting the shortcomings of the second cohort. It takes courage to publicly acknowledge failure and take responsibility for it. It’s commendable that you are reflecting on the experience and actively thinking about how to make improvements for the next cohort. I’m sure your efforts will result in a more successful and rewarding v3. Good luck!
