venice has a v high concentration of Italian spots: Ospi, Scopa, Market, Barrique, Piccolo, Felix, South End.

For me, Felix wins on the pasta, Gjelina wins on the pizza, and Scopa wins on everything else. Haven’t tried Ospi or Piccolo though

scopa is incredibly loud if you don’t get to sit at the bar I find. 

the secret bar in the back is great.

The focaccia and squash blossoms are unreal at Felix. Forgot about those. Adding Piccolo to my list

agree on gjelina pizza. i like ospi's raggu (and most pastas) more than felix's, although felix wins with its focaccia and squash blossoms. piccolo is reasonably priced with amazing burrata options to start the night.
