Idea for growing Farcaster:

Retroactive Public Shill Funding

A mechanism (DAO?) that rewards users who evangelize Farcaster on other social apps. Voting weight for reward distribution based on FID and/or follower count. Ideally all happens within a frame.

A Farcaster native community that aims to reward users for their work evangelizing Farcaster on other social APPs... nice.

So we add on farcaster.vote a new kind of census option: "All users weighted by follower count".

I'd suggest doing Quadratic voting, which is already supported by the underlayer protocol @vocdoni

Not very active on social networks.

It is a L1, but compatible with Ethereum (same signers, addresses and so on). So ideally, you would manage the voting on Vocdoni (which is gasless) and then push the results to any EVM to transfer funds.

We are currently working with @aragon on a new plugin to do so.

That sounds cool. Is Vocdoni an L1? I think the governance would need to be on the same network as the funds. 🤔
