Crypto payment provider Transak has reported a security breach that affected 1.14% of its users, leading to the leakage of basic identity information. The incident occurred after an attacker gained access to an employee's laptop via a sophisticated phishing attack. From there, the attacker logged into the system of a third-party KYC provider, compromising user data.
