Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph has made Tuesday date nights with his wife a non-negotiable priority, adding that “nothing has gotten in the way” for 30 years.

Many of my close friends have recently divorced, especially those who had completely separate lives: working in different industries, or where one partner didn’t work at all, didn’t share mutual friends, and eventually grew apart.

I continue to see more and more great examples of husband&wife teams. I think  working together is a great idea. Regular date nights and traveling at least once a year can help maintain a healthy relationship.

Granted I’m not a person made for relationships so my opinion is irrelevant, I can’t imagine working closely with a spouse - people need space/time from each other

It might depend on your spouse and, of course, on yourself. My work has always been my life—I can’t imagine finding interest in someone outside of it 😅
