I've run 50 miles at a time, hiked 2600 miles across the country, climbed and skied loads of peaks, and the 10 day vipassana was the hardest thing I've ever done even just physically. And on top of that I had to deal with my ridiculous mind π. It's been around 5 years for me. Probably due for another. Where'd you do yours?

That's quite a list! I wasn't very flexible for the first one, so it was a big physical challenge for me. I never went to the chairs, but I built some pillow forts around my body π I sat in North Fork, CA, then Sat and Served in Montebello, Quebec 123 $degen

Same. And I had a torn acl. Got surgery a couple weeks after...I did use the chairs at times π . I want to do one at the north fork center. I went to the Kelseyville one. I grew up very near north fork. Still want to serve at one as well. It's such a cool program. Do you still practice that style of meditation?

Serving was great. You still get in 4 meditation practices a day, and get to give the gift of that practice to others who are learning. It's hard for me to get into the deeper practice these days. Anapana was my daily practice, but recently I've been doing 4/6 breathing with my partner two or three times a day.
