Ordered the Pixel 9 Pro from my contract renewal. Will give it a shot and make the final decision if I go back or stay with iPhone for good. 
So far I'm enjoying iOS but eager to check how Android is doing now with all the Gemini stuff

meh I can imagine. Was hoping Google has it figured out in EU somehow. Same with Apple Intelligence, once I came back to germany I felt cucked lol

one thing i've been a bit disappointed by is how toned down native gemini is since i came back to france; was very awesome when i first picked up the device while in the US!

tbh I'm not using AI chat interfaces much at all. What I want is image recognition, context awareness and all that stuff. Apple Intelligence is just horrible in that regard (or at least was back when it first came out)

I think gemini or in general locking into one model is too limiting lol

I installed deepseek which seems to beat others for free and you can get it on both platforms

It's pretty good, I use it for a couple of weeks now
