1. feels very similar to 2018/19 deep learning research peak
2. ilya gave a great talk today using slides from 2014 and teased young brains w/ lstm and resnet 
3. as always two camps on how far we can scale
4. tons of optimism around the "applied" side of things
5. causality workshops good (and less hyped, nice)
