We were out chasing Sunday but we were stuck I a traffic jam on our way. Long story short, we didn’t get to our planned destination and the storms fizzled out when they got into the cold lake air.

We stopped for a bite to eat at subway and left our GoPro going taking time-lapse photos. While we were ordering this lightning bolt’s reflection was caught on the sign. 

The top two photos are the before and after to show what the sign looked like without lightning reflecting off it. 

Just crazy 🤪 who would have thunk? 🤣

Thank you Aaron. We knew it was a close strike by the loudness of the thunder but never thought of the GoPro still shooting while we were inside. So this was a welcomed surprise when basically it was a bust of a chase. Lol
