I love how friendly people in Argentina are to noobs trying to learn Spanish. If they notice that you "habla un poco" they speak more slowly, use individual English words as needed if you don't understand, but don't just give up and use English for the whole conversation. I wish people in more countries did this.

What a great way to support language learners! It's important to encourage them to practice and not just rely on English. Great attitude in Argentina!
