How do you feel if we launch packs?

Let’s imagine:
- you pay a fixed DEGEN fee (depending on rarity/level)
- we shuffle options (via a smart contract) and randomize what exactly will be in a pack
- you get 3-5 cards.

Prices for packs will be roughly 5k-100k DEGEN depending on a cards level.

So what do you think?

Sounds fair, but it's not possible.

What happens when you purchase a pack for, e.g. 10k DEGEN? A smart contract takes this money and randomly purchases some cards (based on some parameters).

But we literally purchase cards from a market. Some of them are cheap; some are expensive.

We cannot mint new cards for free.

It's just an idea. We are "testing the water" before developing something. We can develop anytihing we want w/o asking. But it is always better to align with users' sentiments

Feels like you're jumping the gun or just not enough information to make a solid decision. All this additional supply would enter the ecosystem and do what?

It'd be nice to see some consistency before adding more dynamics to the list.

I don't like packs. IF you do packs, it needs to be a crazy unpacking xp  like nba topshots. for literally all other games (I also worked with a music manager game) this is hard as users prefer clear rules and finding alpha in the market & here they may even help influencers grow in reach.

Wouldn't recommend.

We release card packs according to the card price currently set. 
I think it would be more correct to adjust the rarity percentage according to the Degen price.

however wish to know some impact on the game - how would the prices fluctuate incase multiple cards of the same caster was opened on a pack?

It sounds fun!! And after discover your pack you can trade it? One pack for epoch, right?

If you do that, you might need to fix the rarity of the cards to some extent, otherwise, I don't think there will be a necessity to buy packs! Or, maybe only up to three cards of the same kind should be issued.

Under 7k degen its sweetspot, like fantasy top

i think packs should all be the same cost as it increases the degen factor. and encourages people to buy more if they are reasonably priced. like real packs of cards, all are the same cost just some might have a rookie card or something
