@johnnytrend.eth is a prime example of farming gone wrong. Across all seasons of Airdrop 2, he farmed 2.2M $DEGEN at an average price of $0.01, pocketing minimum $20k. Now he’s upset about getting banned? Please. We’re cutting out farmers, and real holders will benefit from the changes ahead.

How do you say I farmed 2.2 million with an average of 0.01, but keep quiet about the fact that this is all since March 2024, I did not sell at 0.03 or 0.05 and I keep 1.9 million locked? And thanks for advertising my page, subscribe to /topmemes

He’s been very clear about this: he won’t help grow the network or meaningfully participate. But he will shitcast shallowly to make sure he’s eligible for whatever airdrop dan farcaster eventually shits out. Didn’t leave. Still here, but running on empty.

Glad we are on the same page finally! Left a while ago because of this reason farcaster Dan doesn’t care much for the community. Degen is doesn’t know what to do with itself.

dan is a product person with limited experience. social networks need more than market fit. he can’t understand that and I didn’t notice the problem until late last year. Toss in some right-aligned arrogance from him and hustle colleagues and you’ve got a recipe for perpetual disappointment. I’ve marked down farcaster’s chance of real world adoption considerably as a result. And no, trading dan for someone principled will only turn it into crypto truth social faster.
