There's space for so much more creativity in hardware, now more than ever. So many designers still stuck on UX or the next iPhone, its severely limiting to your creativity. The physical world contains the digital — it shapes and frames what's possible within it.

Identifying the iPhone as the peak of modernism and globalization I think is dead right. That epoch is over and we need new tools for a new culture.
