I was there when Adobe switched to subscription pricing and managed to stay away for years and years. Subscribed to the Big Three, InDesign Photoshop illustrator in December. They finally got me. Affinity apps only come close 🫠

If that is your profession or in my case hobby, I think that makes sense. Same goes for computer back up and some storage online.
