🇧🇩 At least five people have died, and over 100,000 are stranded as severe flooding continues to devastate northern Bangladesh. Triggered by heavy rains and upstream torrents, the floods have submerged entire areas in Sherpur, damaging rice fields and cutting off villages. Rescue efforts are underway, with army personnel using boats and helicopters to evacuate residents and deliver supplies. The flooding highlights Bangladesh’s vulnerability to climate change, with concerns growing over long-term agricultural damage. More rain is forecast, raising fears of further devastation as the country struggles with recurring climate disasters.

Great point, thanks yeah they have a lot of good options connected to their site. Now if only we all weren't so broke and could donate to more things we wish we could donate to 😅

Thats awesome I love to hear it, MSF are heroes of humanity that's for sure. I agree on that, it's much easier to fit in $5 or something a month than one big donation. I've had to pare down on everything unnecessary to keep afloat this year so I don't have any going but I like to do the same.

You know, it’s not a lot but I made an automatic monthly recurring donation to MSF starting several years ago, and I have space for it in my budget and so I know that every year I’m donating a few hundred bucks without breaking the bank and it feels good. We can only do what we can. 

I try to donate extra to causes when I can and I’ve been fortunate to be able to but I think a smaller, ongoing contribution really adds up. Like I must have given a few grand by now over the years.
