Tbh there's not a lot of incentive. Base is cheap enough as is and that's because it's not very decentralized or secure long term (yet, hopefully), so it doesn't make a lot of sense to move further down the risk curve and keep assets on an L3. Need something like hamcaster that's unique and needs ultra cheap tx. POIDH is a good start, need more. Maybe a good game with thousands of micro tx.

I think base transactions might be expensive for minting certain things Onchain if you aren’t coming from a high income nation. I’ve always thought Degen L3 would be the home for high volume activities for the masses. Wonder if @derek is thinking of an L3 for /nativefun if bots are transacting heaps and heaps the transactions might add up. Example 13 cents for the passport mint. Not much given the mint price, yet if the future Onchain involves the developing world 10 cents plus for a transaction is too much IMO. Know it’s not the audience at the moment. I would work on degen L3 swap to usdc (need good liquidity) then > off-ramp to Coinbase (feeless? Or low fee). Make it so someone tipped Degen if a few dollars usdc doesn’t need to spend much to get it to fiat.
