Forgot to mention: beyond supporting stETH, the new token buyer also changes the core mechanism to let the DAO set a withdrawal allowance for the contract with a proposal, which removes the need for the continuous manual top-ups.

Nice I guess I don’t understand the allowance bit because I thought the whole point of tokenBuyer was to make it so we never needed to top up

Got it! Yeah I find it quite confusing as well tbh. As I understand it, the goals with the current version was for the DAO to be able to swap from ETH to an ERC20 on-demand, to prevent having to hold a big position in that ERC20. But the current design still requires manual top-ups unfortunately.
