3. Henry Armstrong
The only world champion to hold titles in three weight classes simultaneously. In October 1937, Armstrong became the world featherweight champion. In May 1938, he added the world welterweight title, and three months later became the world lightweight champion. He also fought to a draw with world middleweight champion Ceferino Garcia in 1940.

Armstrong defended his welterweight title nineteen times, and in his career he faced 17 world champions, defeating 15 of them.
