In the northern part of the Pacific Ocean, for 20 years, a lonely whale has been swimming, unable to communicate with relatives, because he speaks on the wrong frequency. The loneliest whale in the world - named "52 Hertz", sings his song, but no other whale will answer him, because they can't hear. And so his journey through the oceans continues in complete solitude. It's not that he doesn't try to communicate with his fellow whales, he does this all the time, the thing is that the whale sings so high that no other whale can answer him. The rest of the whales communicate on frequencies of 15-25 Hertz, and this is huge difference. The whale is most likely doomed to wander forever alone across the vast expanses.
I think only artists can understand this degree of solitude and how much their "sound" can differ from what others are able to perceive. 1 reply
