At the time, Borish was PTJ’s right hand man, director of research,chief strategist, definitely not the floor trader blowing up accounts, but rather the one building detailed models and research to help PTJ anticipate market moves.

As of 2025, Peter Borish is alive and continues to be active in the financial sector, being the Chairman and CEO of Computer Trading Corporation (CTC) 
He’s been involved with several firms , including the Quad Group, where he’s worked on trader development and he’s also dedicated a lot of time to economic advisory work and philanthropy, particularly in areas like education and poverty alleviation.
