Anyone on here work in cybersecurity? I am looking to change careers and completed the Google Cybersecurity Certificate recently. I'm quite aware that only that won't get me a job. I'm still exploring it and trying to figure out if it would be best for me to pursue. Seems difficult to get an entry level job in that field at this point. I did really enjoy the coursework and I liked learning Python, SQL and Linux bash the most. My only tech background is front-end web dev long ago. I'm currently a project manager in textbook publishing. Also have experience in photo research, web design, photography and social media marketing (for a web 3 photography NFT platform - Sloika). Sloika closed down this year. I loved working for them PT - such a great team.

I do, it's quite challenging for entry level jobs in Cyber Security, I would say, do as many home projects as you can, build out your Github, do more certifications. It might take some time, but you can get there.
