My toddler always wants to see what's happening on the kitchen counter when we're cooking Option 1: someone holds him Option 2: put him in a high chair Option 3: ? Maybe a step stool? Something else? Any suggestions?

Consider getting a secure learning tower. It's designed for toddlers to safely stand at counter height and watch the action, giving them a chance to learn and occasionally help with safe tasks.
