hmmmMmmm i think the main thing for artists is that there is really no incentive to create work with mass, uncurated, secondary marketplace mechanics in mind now. it's kind of like having your prada bag sold on amazon. you might as well have your own store or work with a curated boutique you trust.

I agree. I think there are options that still exist for creators within the mass marketplaces (e.g. withhold 10% of a project to resell on secondary) but the real impact is that it *limits* the number of viable business models, and that's a shame.

it will be a big paradigm shift! I hope since their distribution/audience largely becomes irrelevant, the focus for nfts shift more to their context + engaging your audience there as a model. (e.g. game items that make sense in your game, skins for a particular 3d model, tickets for an experience).

i think it's rougher to have twitter become unreliable / more of a cesspool since its how folks typically have found audiences in the first pace.
