By default, the app will only show you casts from accounts 1) you follow, 2) with the power badge or 3) engaged with by the cast author

1/ How to think about this:

- Who you follow: you control this! Unfollow at any time.

- Power badge: a nice mix of interesting OG Farcaster accounts and newer accounts that have built an audience

- Cast author engagement: discover accounts with engagement worth replies

Should bring back a "pre-permissionless" vibe.

isn’t that very punishing for all new people that join?

I get that a big part of your following is people you know, but what about finding interesting new content, especially from accounts with different opinions/POVs so a good discussion could emerge?
