Might not be the popular take but I’m not convinced an ETF is good for ETH, feels at odds with the movement we’ve been building 

Some takes make me feel uneasy, like have you just been waiting for acceptance from the old system the entire time, or been trying to build a new one?

Maybe the ETF is just a stepping stone.

If we succeed in building the new system we supposedly are, an ETF will become pointless because holding your own funds will be easy and normal.

Perhaps the fastest path is for people to have a way to participate that they understand, which will fund building the new thing.
