lots of people outside of Farcaster (95% of our traffic comes from X) don't understand Clanker yet. A v1 attempt at explaining it concisely:

I'm assuming you still need a farcaster account even if you come from twitter though, correct?

Also I'm wondering if there are any real benefits of launching on clank.fun over launching directly to @clanker. Was chatting with a FC friend about this and couldn't point to anything. The 5m coin entry seems a bit steep (though you know I for real did it anyway just because I like to experiment). 

Not trying to be negative here. Really just want to know if there are benefits I'm not seeing.

biggest I think is the barrier of having to have a farcaster account and building the reputation here to be able to launch successful clankers. most of the audience aren't yet on Farcaster. we're meeting them where they already are - on X, with an interface they're already used to.

So they don’t need a FC account to launch on clank.fun? That’s huge if true.
