Clanker has recently become aware of information concerning @proxystudio.eth's conduct during his previous employment. Following these revelations, @proxystudio.eth has decided to part ways with Clanker, effective immediately.

We want to assure our community, partners, and stakeholders that Clanker's operations and assets remain unaffected by this situation. This matter relates solely to activities that occurred prior to his involvement with our organization.

I continue to build with @dish @btayengco and team despite the shocking news of alex’ history. looking forward to hearing more about how this unfolded - many lessons for me to learn here. 

from all the irl jams/calls I’ve had with alex he always placed a big emphasis on keeping his identity private. I never quite understood it, but did trust to be just some kind of ideological or otherwise harmless expression. I think from this point onwards I’ll start putting more of my trust in people who aren’t afraid to reveal who they are in real life

my support goes out to the clanker team. it must be tough to find out that your closest and most trusted business partner has hidden things from you/shown to lack integrity. 

i’m sure right now it’s challenging, but they’ll figure it out and keep building

Sad day for people like me who have always lived anonymously online, including work. I believe in privacy as an ideology, and for personal safety.

I've tried hard to never grift, and always be legitimate.

Understandable reaction though. 😿
