felt this in a real way recently. launched clank.fun on Farcaster and only later, reluctantly, on X X now drives 95% of traffic, FC < 2%. I haven’t posted on X in over a year before this. Now I spend most of my time there (just based on ROI) don’t mistake this for a FC bearpost

to me, everything that Merkle is doing is moving the needle in the direction of more users. But topping the scales will likely take years - you don’t beat a decades-established social network in weeks or months it’s more than worth sticking around for the journey. especially if you believe in programmable and censorship resistant social
