What if at some point you want to switch to a different EVM account but you still want to proof that it used to be yours? Because of earned POAP’s an on-chain activity Is it possible to proof the ownership of that “old” EVM account? And store that proof in your new EVM account ?

Exactly why account abstraction with ZK proofs is needed. You should be able to use any number of account addresses and prove ownership via Zkproof to maintain a seamless identity. Ppl get screwed out of airdrops all the time for having healthy account management practices, for example.

Projects like Creds.xyz are doing a good job of moving this direction. That combined with projects like Clave and zkemail... We're getting there with the necessary primitives.
