I’m one of the 5-15 and this stresses me out. 

People might not care now, but nobody knows how valuable a fully archived Farcaster will be.  Undoubtedly very valuable and possibly most to people who aren’t thinking of it. 

I’m pretty much in this space for watching history unfold.

If having global state on a single server is important, you get to choose two:

1. Long term storage
2. Censorship resistant
3. Cheap

Prefer to pay for storage than get a “free” app with ads. Even with twitter blue (yeah I’m not calling it that other thing) there are still ads & now a whole new upgrade to unlock stuff. 

Also @farchiver is a great option for keeping everything if you want.

I def do not want ads.. I’d pay for storage before I take ads for a ‘free’ app.. obv everyone’s MMV and there’s pros and cons to both, including inclusivity but also the way ads and ad culture just send everything downhill so fast..
