It changes it completely (and kinda kills it). Best thing I can say to any new parent couples — keep dating and make it a priority. Even if it’s an at home dinner/movie — make it happen & make it consistent. Same with your friends/regular social things you do (like it you meet up w/friends once a week for lunch, the gym etc). Try to keep that going. Not easy. Also — sometimes your friends change especially if you join parent groups. Easier to hang with other parents with kids the same age. Kids can be playing while you’re having dinner etc.
