i have my ENS name bought for many years to come and TIL that my base.eth name has been taken by the address: 0x0921a5DCbB0FeFB3A44B523Fd6ecc5a0F28B59A8 is there any plan to prevent these people from impersonating original .eth names and scamming people? (btw this person also holds @nounishprof.base.eth)

Yeah it sucks but I grabbed TheNounishProf which is my primary anyway. Someone definitely went thru Farcaster and snapped them up.
