I’m so sorry to hear this. And know that you’re not alone. 

As to how to change it — this helps. Sharing experiences and calling out bad behavior. And look for the communities & events that won’t tolerate this. Not easy but I’m hopeful we’ll get there.

Thanks for the advice, funny thing is that I was actually invited to a women only twitter space today to discuss this with some other females and someone actually gaslit me on stage. She was like she’s never faced anything like this luckily and even if she did, she wouldn’t stop attending events. I mean🫠
