Are users who tip in comments, punished by the supercast algo the same way we are on WC?

nope, supercast doesn't do any moderation partially because it's a lot of work that i can't afford partially because people who use supercast actually like it this way, you are 100% sure to see everything warpcast has to moderate to please a standard couch surfer who is used to seeing the best content 100% of the time on ig / tiktok

Hypothetically speaking, of course, if a token project wanted to be on other FC clients but not on WC at all, is this possible?

yes of course! replies are on the protocol, not possible to censor so if your users don't care about being labelled as spam warpcast, they can post whatever they want and it will still be available on other clients

No @trebor69 and @trish —that’s not true at all. Tipping alone won’t get you labeled as spam. I’d seriously doubt either of you are.

Yeah i looked into this, read Dan’s cast and asked opinions around As i understand, the problem is not tipping itself. The problem is when people dont interact with our replies (many times and especially from people that dont follow us back)

I don’t think I’m marked. But tipping in a way the algo doesn’t like can mark someone. For instance tipping someone you don’t know or “just because” and they don’t reply back. Which is a little funny seeing as saying “thanks” repetitively was once said to be an uninteresting offense. Tipping degen and ham been beneficial for people. Life changing for some. Founders we know and love grinding on these projects for the community and the algorithm is doing them a disservice. Algo’s are hard. I think most genuine users understand but it’s worthy of a conversation. Especially when the algo designer is invested in a competitive project and is incredibly dismissive of people raising reasonable objections https://www.supercast.xyz/c/0xe1440eeafd18a7862c9173b607f75225c24498fd
