We also know that some cultures just have different work ethics. Lots of studies showing that some immigrants have more success than others based on culture.

My grandmother was first gen Lebanese-American. Was surprised when I saw a study a few years back that Lebanese-Americans were one of the ones that were most successful as immigrants. And when I thought about the culture I grew up with, it made a lot of sense.
